New updates are here!
Teuri has been updated to 1.1.0:
We added the ability to do key-tracking on the resonator (replacing the center frequency control when it’s turned on). You can turn this on, and a MIDI activity indicator will show up to show when note-on messages occur (and you can right-click this indicator to specify the channel that the keytracker should utilize).
We also did some minor fixes to DSP that were present, but were mostly just edge case bugs.
Smear has also been updated to 1.2.0:
There are two new spectral processors. The first is called “Erosion”, which is kind of like if a spectral reverb met a spectral gate; quieter bits of the signal decay faster than louder bits (or vice versa, or evenly, up to you).
The second processor is called “Glitch”, and it holds a bunch of spectral frames in it’s memory and plays them back in sections (sometimes even multiple playbacks can occur at once!) in forward & reverse.
We also fixed an issue that was reported with the pitch shift processor’s formant shifting not working properly, and added extra factor band controls for that processor.
We have updated both plugins on the knowledge base to reflect the new updates.
More stuff!
Beyond those updates, we’ve also updated the modulation workflow. Along with Teuri and Smear, the other plugins that use modulation (Glow and Hikari currently) now work with a drag and drop modulation system, instead of what we had before.
Modulation buttons are now standardized and you click+drag them onto sliders to route the modulation (the sliders which can take modulation will highlight themselves when this happens).
You can fine-tune the depth of any routed modulators by right-clicking on a modulation knob (or by clicking on the modulation icon that shows up near a modulated knob). This system is a lot smoother than what we had before, and is intended to improve the user experience of our plugins.
We currently have a spring sale running; use the code LSPRING26 for 25% off anything in our store. Happy producing!
